It seems odd to me that you'd completely close the site. (I know 6 months ago the site was for sale. I guess it never got sold)

Even if I'd made my fortune from it, and didn't want to run it/deal with emails etc, I'd atleast give it away to someone to make some money from it. (probably wouldn't pulling in too much money, but still)

I know the water4gas niche is old news now, but I found it interesting, especially since it was such a massive product on Clickbank.

Surely there must be a way to monetize from it? If I had the owners contact details, I'd see what the deal was.

The product is out and past. Only 3 years kids would believe it can work.

It sold well in the past and a lot of people earn a lot.

Well it can't be completely dead. Top water car site has gravity of 35. Water4gas gravity 23... Sales are obviously still being made.

If you owned the site, would you just shut it and throw away free money from affiliate sales?

If the profit is less than the investment, then we will throw it away.

The site was shut down by clickbank and not the original publisher or so they say.

The current gravity of run your car on water is negligible right now, compared to the hundreds just a year ago, water4gas was almost 1000 once!

The publisher of centemax screwed up, I was getting regular sales with run your car with water, even when the niche was dying, however, at one point I didn't have a sale for month, a couple of weeks ago, I checked my hoplink for this product. I was suprised of what I saw.

The run your car on water publisher, was redirecting to water4gas WITH HIS OWN AFFILIATE LINK!! , all the traffic that affiliates have been sending him, he's been using to get water4gas sales for himself, with no credit whatosever to the affiliates. Somebody probably reported this to CB and his account got banned.

Looks like centemax's product is dead, because when you try go through a hoplink it says "This site is no longer in service or has been disabled due to a terms of service violation". I think Ripped just explained the reason why the product is no longer available.

In regards of Water4Gas, it's still up and running with gravity just over 20....It's unbelievable that this product had almost 1000 gravity at some point ;)

    Thanks for the explanation Ripped.

That's pretty low of the publisher. I guess all that quick cash he made over 6-12 months, made him greedy and selfish. (Or perhaps he was always like that, but this situation brought it out even more so)

I remember falafelfro back before he had centemax. He used to post a bit here, and got into selling his "secret" report or something like that.

Seemed like a true marketer... guess once you get used to netting big $ it's hard to give it up ;)
