Here is what I am doing, and what I'd like to do. I flv video into threads on vB. I'd like to put ads in the videos, but before them. The videos cannot have ads actually built directly into them, so... Is there any way to run 2 .flv's back to back (i.e. a 10 second ad clip, then the video clip) If not, is there any way to set a start image instead of the blank play screen? If not... lol.. any ideas on how to display an ad in front of a video?
Most people have it as Flash, so the ad dynamically loads before the video. Usually I believe in flv videos it's based on flash so that might be useful?
im not sure about this, but you can get one of those free FLV players out there that support XML(which means, u put in your FLV's in the XML and the FLV player will play them) so you put the AD link in the XML first, then the actual video, and you can remove the skip buttons from the player if you really want people to see those ads without skiping them, but like i said, im not sure if its going to work or not, theres nothing to loose in trying it.
