You can run, but you can't hide--from your infamy.

    wow.

one of the many consequences of a policy of torture. I believe Israel has no record, or at least in no way pursues torture in current times.

I mention that because Israel has 100 times the experience dealing with Islamic fundamentalist terrorists than does the United States.

Rumsfeld, Bush and Cheney are war criminals! They should be arrested and sent to the Hague!

Well then, he should have no problem facing the courts if he didn't torture, right?

    Bush and Blair. Bilderberg trash.

    Correct.

I could launch frivolous complaints & court cases up about you everyday, would you be happy to attend them all?

Do you believe that charges of committing torture, a war crime is frivolous?

If you charged me with that, I would be compelled to attend it, to prove my innocence.

What does Rumsfeld have to hide? That he's Bilderberg filth?

"The abuse of human rights by the Bush administration is a massive sore on the backside of humanity.
When you lower yourself to the standards of the terrorists you become terrorists yourselves.
I cannot understand how thinking informed americans can allow these atrocities and abuses of the constitution and geneva convention to continue under this insane administration.
The world will continue to be an unsafe place until these people are removed from office."

    Yes.

I suspect it has something to do with the Frech government more than anything else.

Toopac, I want to be clear on this.

You believe that torture as a war crime is a frivolous charge. Correct?

Yes like i said above, the complaint of such is frivolous & made by anti-war protesters who would most likey consider anything a war crime, even retaliation.

This is all based off an unconfirmed report. I don't think Rummy was ever in any real danger of being arrested. I'm sure France's government would be willing to break its own laws to protect him. It sure would have been an interesting trial, though.

But one who still has his cheerleaders  Hopefully, one day, the people here who have been defending these neocon warmongers will be embarrassed about it.

Actually the complaint was made by Human Rights organizations. I'm guessing you are not for Human Rights?

It's interesting that you do not view torture as a war crime. I'm assuming you don't back the Geneva Conventions?

It doesn't exist. His only agenda is attempting to tear down America with false charges. That's what ron paul supporters do. They pretend to care about America, but never really demonstrate they do.

The former commander of Abu Grahib offered to testify in France that Rumsfeld ordered and participated in torture.

I have this funny picture in my mind. In an interview the President referenced that he is looking forward to giving speeches for money after his term is over (as have many recent presidents before him). (wants to replenish the coffers)

He gets this gig over in Europe for $1-200,000 to give a speech.

Flies his butt over there to make some easy money ..........and they arrest him for international abuse/torture, etc.

Has 1 call to make to post bail....calls his buddy cheney....who is safely in the US and Cheney says....too bad dude ....you are on your own.

    Ironic, huh?;)

You mean the General that was relieved of duty for the scandal and has since become outspoken about the war to clear his name?

    Oh, that's good!
