rumour of adbrite code affect seo rankings for web pages

    i have heard this from a few ppl, but am yet to see it on mine, i dont think there is any logical truth to this..

    but what do you guys think? is it possible for adbrite code to affect serp's?

    i do notice it makes my pagges load slower

    It doesn't effect anything... its just a bit of code that displays advertisements.

    it's just that, a rumor. Although, if you have a page filled with nothing but adrite ads, I'm sure you will be delisted eventually.

    As per my knowledge web crawlers see your page text mostly(maybe totally).
    It is mentioned in google's web master tools, google sees your pages same text browsers see.
    And there is an advice to check your page contents with linx browser to know better about your page.

    The point is every content ad code on the net is served through JavaScript or some scripting language, which will never come in contrast with the web crawlers. So, it is needless to worry about ADs and SEO relation.

    I doubt it effects search results but if it makes your pages load slower that sucks.
