    Okay, this is an old, old rumour and to make it clear she doesn't have a wooden leg.

    However, I can find no imperical proof of the matter by being able to produce a picture that clearly shows both thighs and shins.

    I have $50 on the line for this.

    Internet peoples, I have faith. Go forth and find :)

    Heather Mills (Paul McCartney's gold digging soon to be ex wife) has a prosthetic leg and she just competed in some ballroom dancing show in the US. You can barely tell she has a falsey. As for Shania, I don't believe it myself.

    Correct. But hers is new and also below the knee, fundamentally different than one that would be above the knee, I believe the suspicion was that Shania Twain's was above the knee.
