    Their latest partnership of NASA is more focus on developing new technologies than anything else. NASA has quite an edge as far as supercomputing goes, and Google wants that and is offering NASA their expertise in information management.

    It will be interesting to see where this will go though.

    I don't know how much truth there is to this statement but working with NASA is certainly a good publicity for Google, IMHO. This could be the only thing that caused the company to enter this partnership. Other future benefits (if any) will be a bonus for Google. NASA, on the other hand, should gain a lot from partnering with G
