    Hi,

I think a couple more rules would increase the professionalism of the "Buy, Sell, Trade - Sites" forum. Here's one suggestion:

If a seller lists both a BIN and an auction deadline, the auction should continue until either someone purchases the site at BIN or the auction deadline is reached.

I've seen many auctions where both a BIN and auction deadline have been listed but the seller sold the site below BIN and before the auction closed. This seems to defeat the purpose of posting a BIN and an auction deadline.

Many sellers will put a BIN just to give some kind of idea of what they would want tops.

And many sellers sell not only here, but on other forums.
So sometimes they get their asking BIN at another forum prior to end date of auction here.

I agree that at times, the auction and sales are a bit off on time factors, BIN's wanted, etc.

Maybe there should be a time limit on an auction if it could be built in.
Like ebay, 3-5-7-10 days auction limits.

The ongoing, no time limit, keep bidding until the cows come home type auctions should be stopped.

In general I think there should be more rules enplaced for the B/S/T forums. There should be rules against selling copywritten material (ie. Photos, Revised Images, etc) All where a known copyright exists, but the seller insists on stating that "No Copyright Issues".

I realize that sellers may place their sites for sale on other forums but I've seen several cases where they didn't and closed the auction under BIN and before the auction close. If a seller places a BIN or auction close, they should stick to it unless their site was sold on another forum. Otherwise, there's no point in including BIN's or auction closes if they're not going to stick to them. That's my point.
