Ruby on Rails better than PHP?

    Is rails really better than PHP? I'm still learning ROR and hopefully can catch it up faster..

    Maybe ROR will be the next web programming of choice?

    This has been debated a lot, most recently in this thread.

    They each of their perks, though in my opinion PHP is still ahead of RoR. I find it unlikely RoR will replace PHP as the front runner in web programming, though it has its niche.
