RSS'ing message boards

Hey, guys, I don't know if the proper term is "RSS'ing", but my site has a board, and I'd like to have, say, the last 10 or so topics started or replied to to show up in my front page in RSS form -- i.e. the way all my blog entries are fed live to my front page as RSS. I've seen other sites do this, but I don't quite know how. CAn anyone point me to the right answer for this?

In your admin control panel, under vbulletin options / External Data Provider you can enable RSS feeds.

Once you do that, you can get to the rss feed by going to:
    www .yourwebsite.com/forum/external.php?type=rss or
    www .yourwebsite.com/forum/external.php?type=rss2

You can get individual forum rss feeds by using the following syntax:
    www .yourwebsite.com/forum/external.php?type=rss&forumids=1

    Or multiple forum feeds:
    www .yourwebsite.com/forum/external.php?type=rss&forumids=1,2,3

RSS feeds have same access as a guest user - so private forums cannot be syndicated out of the box.

You'll need a script for that and I just happen to know where you can find one. ;)
