I want to submit to a number of RSS sites. ~ Should I submit each category from a website separately? ~ Should I stagger the RSS submissions? If so how many and how often? ~ Do I need to update and resubmit the same RSS at a later time when I add another post? ~If my site does not contain an RSS feed, is there a simple WP plugin or something to make one? ~ Should I make and submit feeds for individual articles such as articles I write at eZines? Thanks for your response.... When I ask if I should stagger RSS submissions I mean to different RSS places. There are tons of them. If I submit my blog to 20 should I stagger the submission? My wordpress blog does not have an RSS on it. I dragged the RSS widget you mentioned to the right but that is for importing RSS feeds.....that is not for the RSS on my site. It asks for the name of the RSS feed I want to put on the site. My site does not have one. I made one using XML code but am not sure how to put it on my site.
For the sake of managing your time you can stagger them but you really don' t need to. You may find software like RSS Submit useful as you can just enter the feeds and submit them when you post new items.
So you are saying that I will not be penalized by Google for submitting my sites to a number of feeds? Also I read that it is good to submit the whole site AND individual categories..is that correct? Thanks!
