    I'm needing an RSS reader for an online forum discussion in a few hours and I've never used RSS before, can anyone recommend a good reader and any things that I need to know about rss feeds?

    FeedDeamon for Windows and Liferea for Linux. RSS is pretty much plug and play, no special knowledge needed. :)
