Hello am in the middle of creatinga new website but wanting to have rss but i havent touched it before and i want to be able to do what these websites can do tutorial9.net and psdtuts.com. and how does rss work on a website layout does it improve anything whats so ever and do you think its a good thing to have on a website that will ofer tutorials and so forth ?
RSS, generally, doesn't have anything to do with your site layout. The feed consists of links to new posts(pages), their title and description. People will read them in specialized feed readers (like Bloglines or Google Reader), and if they like the posts they may click on the links and visit your site. Your site visitors can subscribe to an RSS feed to receive notifications about new tutorials.
