I've heard a lot of people offer the suggestion: put an RSS feed on your site for better SEO. Pardon me for being an idiot, but I don't know what this means. Does it mean: a. parse other people's RSS feeds into a little news headlines section on your site. or b. publish an RSS feed of your own unique content and then hope that other people subscribe to it, post it on their site, etc. Seems like b. would work better for SEO, since it might provide backlinks if a webmaster actually parses your content on his or her site, but a. would guarantee fresh content (even if it is outbound links) every time the spiders come. TIA.
always own and unique content is good but say if u have about 100 or 200 sites network then u cant write content for all of them in such cases rss feeds help to update site with fresh content.
I think this is what meant by most SEO. Adding RSS feeds in our site will help to create fresh content automatically and improve content relevancy (see how i implement them in my SEO site )
