rss file extension

    rss file used can be rss.asp,rss.php or the extension should be only rss.xml ?

    You would calling rss.php but it would ultimately be generating the rss.xml because that is what is parsed by rss readers.


    I would recommend you to generate rss.xml at regular interval of time instead of creating rss.xml each time by calling rss.php, or rss.axp whatever you have..

    The extension of the file does not matter. ITs the contents that matter.
