    RSS Feeds is Really Simple syndication used for publishing frequently updated article entries, news, multimedia, in a standard format. RSS document called feed or website feed is contains a full summary or a short description, including metadata like who's the author and the date of published feed..

    It may affect your ranking or it may not, depending on the content, and how many people who like your content/feed...usually RSS feed is used for gaining backlinks from social media or when someone really like your article and want to know more about your article he will subscribe to your site RSS feed and you on the other hand gain backlinks from that site..

    i guess that's is the basic idea of an RSS feed...

    Rss means Really Simple syndication. It's an xml format file. This file include new post and new updation of your site. We can use ree feed in ping services. Thanks

    and if you are using WordPress blog platform they are already has an RSS support automatically. To subscribe RSS feed, point your RSS reader to:

    RSS feeds are usually a feed for articles or blogs where the content is updated much more regularly then normal websites. Search Engines love new content and they are a great way of letting search engines know that you have what they want.
