RSS Feeds or content from google... ?

I have some pages that are blank, but I would still like them to show up in google, with at least some content. Right now I'm dumping a little informational content pulled from google on to these pages. (They won't be blank as soon as a user comes and inputs something).

But I'm wondering if it's effective to pull search results, or RSS feeds to fill in these blank spots?

Does anyone here do this? If so, what is a good place to find RSS feeds on any topic, also what do you use to parse the content?

    Thanks a lot!!!

You might as well get some content on there. Both Yahoo and Google have several RSS feeds that may be of use to you. Just goto yahoo.com and search for RSS feeds.

Whats the point in having lots of blank pages indexed if they have no value? Thats what black hat scraper sites do - they scrape rss feeds for content.

Your rankings will be better if you stop low value pages being indexed.

Whoever red repped, the pages were pages were users could add content. If no user can find them, or the site, content doesn't get added. If it gets indexed (because it has content) and users consistently add content, I wouldn't call that spamming or black hat. I bet if I visited any of your sites you'd have some type of filler. Pure content is black and white. No one does that.
