RSS Feeds for an ad revenue funded news site

I'm not sure the legality of using rss feeds on a site that I run. I'd like to use rss feeds to populate some of my sections to save me time writing content. I do know unique content is valuable but i'd like to inquire as to whether or not their are any sites that provide rss feeds for free to use on other news sites like mine?

I know of reuters and associated press but I imagine they are quite expensive.

Google, Yahoo and I think there is something called big news site, Fox and ...
I use them quite a lot but they are not a replacement for unique content.

RSS feeds are available for the sake of readers being able to subscribe. They're protected by copyright just like content directly on-site. Never assume you have the site's permission to actually publish that content to be monetized in any way on your own site. Ask first and read all of their TOS. Larger sites often enough have specific terms laid out for their feeds.
