Silly questions .. How do search engines regard RSS feeds?

Does a high RSS blog feed subscription (1000+) affect SERP?

    Thanks!

Not quite sure what you mean. If you have an RSS feed of your site, then you can submit it to Google and Yahoo Sitemaps, which will aid the indexing of your website.

You can also syndicate your feed elsewhere (e.g. feedburner), and get additional links and traffic. See thread linked in my signature for details...

However, the search engines don't know (or care) how many people subscribe to your feed. Therefore no, a high RSS blog feed subscription (1000+) does not affect SERP.

    Nope not at the moment.

But Live has started to track clicks each website gets, maybe and maybe this could be an important ranking factor in the SE in future.

In my opinion - Rss is not effect directly in seo i mean in SERPs.
But SERP is not out goal ultimately - we want traffic so Rss is more effective to get traffic. If user add your Rss link in his/her feeder may be you can gain....
