RSS Feed vs Duplicate Content

Hello,

I'm currently working on a new forum project that will obtain 95% of it's content from RSS Feeds of different sites. Does anyone know if Google will penalize the site for having what may be construed as duplicate content, since threads/posts will contain content and links from other sites?

PS. I currently have all threads purged after 30 days

 

One of my subsites is using an excellent script that takes a lot of feeds from many news website, something like Google aggregator. No certain penalty yet imposed on the website.

 

I don't think google will punish your website, since all you doing is reprinting. Just curious, how to get rss feeds from other websites?

I usually just look for the RSS feed icon and click on it to get the URL for the feed and add that to the site.

 

vBulletin makes that process pretty easy.

 

There are many ways to take, automatically, the news headlines from feeds.
