Do a search for RSS Page Plugin and you get inundated with spam plugins that turn rss feeds into automated blogs. I'm very frustrated! I need a plugin that will put an RSS feed of my choice ON a page (not a post) like a widget - not a widget in the sidebars! a 120x300 or respective sized widget on the page. Completely integrated with the CSS of the page template, the plugin would show an excerpt of 3 recent or random posts from the feed. I realize I can probably do this with divs on the page to contain the feed excerpt so really all I need is a plugin that will pull the content from a feed into a page. The plugin should work using a page tag that I can drop in the page content where I want the feed content to appear. Why would I want something like this? (may help convey what I need). An otherwise static landing page (not the homepage but another page) on which I want to feature random testimonials or blog posts from different blogs. They should appear in the page and rotate dynamically. Any suggestions? Thanks
probably the best i've found (below), but would love to hear from others ? http://www.geckotribe.com/rss/carp/
Yep that's would do it; I can't believe though that their isn't a free or much cheaper solution. If I had the skills to develop plugins this is one of the first I'd contribute
