    Hi;
    I am experimenting with rss feed,
    I did put a rss feed link from go directory site into a page and it shows just
    couple lines of the article, to see the whole article you have to click on the title
    which takes you to go directory site and the whole article shows in there.
    is this OK? or rss feed from article directories work differently.

    I want to have the option of showing the whole article.

    thanks.

    That is the way almost all article directories work, nothing you can do to change it. (they want you to click through to their site)
    If you want the complete article, you can use the rss feeds of my article site. (I dont even know if any other sites support this option)
    http://www.articletrader.com/feeds/custom/ (make sure to select 'full article' at type of feed)

    I see,
    thanks for reply,

    as I am reading on the issue of duplicate content,
    does having a rss feed for article from a directory into your site is different than having a rss feed for news on your site,
    do both consider duplicate content?

    thanks

    Only Google can possibly know that.
    My opinion however is that the duplicate content penalty is way exaggerated. The article itsself may not be unique, but the surrounding html and site theme is.
    If adding a article or new feed will improve the site for your visitors, I see no reason not to.
