Does a RSS feed exist where in we can specify our Amazon affiliate ID and the products that are pulled in automatically have the ID in them?

    Here's a browse-node RSS feed-search you can try:
You need to change the hxxp to http, remove all line returns and add in the appropriate [search-index], [assoc-id], [developer-token] & [browse-node] - without the brackets.

Well, here's an example of what you can get with the code above:

    http://xml.amazon.com/onca/xml3?mod...om/xsl/xml-rss091.xsl&BrowseNodeSearch=163296

and here's an example of it's application:

    http://www.squidoo.com/bestselling-mens-watch

    :

[search-index] - what are you searching for? books, dvd, music, videogames - as categorized by Amazon.

    [assoc-id-20] - clear enough

[developer-token] - you must be registered with Amazon as a developer before you can access it's database or you will not get any feed.

[browse-node] - the subcategory page/index you are sourcing from - 130 for DVD, 163296 for Action & Adventure DVD, 712256 for Animation DVD and so on. This browse-node is displayed as part of the page URL when you are browsing Amazon.com product category pages.

It's not that hard, just take a while to get it going, if you have a use for it.

dino: Is 'developer-token' the same as 'Access Key ID'?

What would be the 'browse-node' for law items? i.e, for this URL? ->

    http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_gw/102-2512639-4008956?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=law&x=10&y=16
    Code (markup):
    Is it 102-2512639-4008956 ?

Figured it out. 'developer-token' is the same as 'Access Key ID'

    Node values are listed here.

But the feed doesn't contain images. Any feed parameter and value to get the images?

The feed is based on the original released by Amazon yarns ago, at the beginning of the RSS introduction - hence no images.

Meantime I am asking for permission from a member on another forum as to whether he will let me post his Amazon RSS feed with images here, hopes he grants me the request. Will let you know.

You can get your nodes at http://www.aanodes.com/ as well.

Glad you resolve the developer token issue.

Your law items could be a 'blended' keyword search, try this:
Basically what I have posted are 2 (two) feed type - the first is for 'browse-node' search while the second id for 'keyword' search. Try using both and see how it works, basic is that you must use the correct search-index value for both.

    I only use Blogger.

Tried a quick one on my blog http://kiwana.blogspot.com/ and it worked. Blogger only shows headers. Right column - Diver Watch.

Copy everything from the URL for the test, just change the assoicid-20 to yours. If it worked then start working on the searchindex, browse-node or keywords.

    Good luck.

or post here what you are searching for, maybe I can help if it is not your blog problem.

If you're looking for a simpler way of getting your RSS Feeds from Amazon, then have a look at the Amazon Feed Generator. It will give you 3 types of feeds: by node, by listmania list or by ASINs; and you can have images too.
