    Hello all ,

I need some advice on this subject - I need to start a new website my main aim is to extract the rss feeds from one site and display it on my site with the 75% of the data that needs to be extracted from there to my website. Is there any programs or scripts available? are they reliable any thoughts and help would be thankful. If it can be hosted on a Wordpress Then its my choice.

    Thanks

Caferss is a good solution. You control how much of the Feed can be displayed. If with images or not, etc.
    But I don't think it's for wordpress.

You can use lastRSS to parse the RSS feeds, mess around with them, and then display the result on your site. You'll need to know a bit of PHP, but it's worth it - and you won't be relying on a third party site.

If you want to run lastRSS from within Wordpress posts (not from your php theme files), you'll need to be able to use PHP in posts, which requires something like Exec-PHP.

If you have the feeds in a database you could use SQL2RSS in conjunction with RSS2HTML to display. Additionally if you want to filter the information you can use RSS Filter. All are PHP scripts you can find additional details here: http://www.feedforall.com/scripts-directory.htm

I wouldn't use the available rss feed coz it have lag time between the published time.
Why don't you spend some money to hire a coder to code a more advance script for you?
I believe it worth it coz you can have special feature added such as filtering option.
