I would also love to know the benefits of placing RSS into your site. Is this basically done for content purposes only? if so .. does the hosting web site of the rss get penalized for duplicate content? Does anybody benefit from the clicks from the rss feed? I will continue to search through the forums to find answers, but have not been able to find out enough as of yet. Any help and information would be greatly appreciated. Thank You!
Here's a list of different RSS builders that can create a mini site for you in minutes using keywords that you supply it. I created my own and it works similiar to those on the list. I am not really sure how effective these mini site scripts are though.... Honestly, you need a way to get a lot of traffic.
