#

Electric baseboard heaters are a great choice according to most consumers . There are economical, efficient and convenient. There is very little or no installation and maintenance. There are also several safety features that make the electronic baseboard a good choice.

    #
The electronic baseboard heaters are available as a portable or fixed unit. They are inexpensive to buy with most of them costing less than $200. There is no installation required for the portable heaters. They plug into a regular wall plug-in. Some of them run on 120 volts and some of them run on 240 volts. It is best to have as little as possible on the same breaker with your heater because it can overload easily and trip the breaker. There is no duct work required; the electric baseboard heaters heat a small space so it is only necessary to run them if the space is needed. The fixed units might require a little expense for installation because they do not have a plug. They have to be hardwired into the house wiring.

    #
The electric baseboard heaters are energy efficient. It is best to buy a heater that is a little larger than what you actually need because this allows you to run it on the low setting. Because the electric baseboard heaters are very energy efficient this will usually put out enough heat while using less power because on the low setting they only use one leg of the power. Some of the electric baseboard heaters are even rated one hundred percent energy efficient. They circulate the heat in the room by putting out warm air on the floor which rises and moves the cooler air to the bottom. The heaters are equipped with a thermostat to turn the heater off when the room reaches the desired temperature.

    #
The electric baseboard heaters are virtually maintenance free. The only maintenance that is required is periodic cleaning of the unit. You should make sure that all airways are clean and dust.

    #
Portable electric baseboard heaters can be the answer for hard to heat places. They do not need ducts and they are very low maintenance which makes them a convenient choice. They can be used in guest rooms, basements, workshops, garages, or anywhere else that you need heat on demand. Electric baseboard heaters can be purchased as free standing portable heaters or units that can be mounted on the wall. These heaters are an economical choice because they are very energy efficient and do not need to be operated if the space is not being used. Some people use them as an alternative to a central heating system that heats the entire house. This is especially true for older couples who do not normally use their whole house.

    #
The Fahrenheat LFP6152 is the number one best seller on Amazon for electric baseboard heaters. This model is less than five feet wide and uses hydronic heat conduction. It heats a liquid that stays on until the room reaches the setting on the thermostat. This unit puts out 2,560 BTUs on the low heat setting and 5,120 BTUs on high. It operates on only 120 volts. The heater has a thermostat and a power cord that is six feet long. The retail price of this portable electric baseboard heater is about $140.

    #
The Fahrenheat FBE15002 portable electric baseboard heater is ranked as the best electric portable baseboard heater that works on 120 volts by Heater Home. This model has two settings; on the low setting it puts out 3,413 BTUs of heat and on the high setting it puts out 5,120 BTUs. It has been identified as one hundred percent energy efficient. This heater uses convection to distribute heat through a room. It has a safety feature that shuts it off if the air is blocked. The unit is less than four feet long and it sells for about $100.

    #
Heater Home has named the QMark HBB1004 as the best electronic baseboard heater that operates on 240 volts. The heating element in this heater is fully protected and the heater stays cool to the touch. This feature is a great advantage for using around pets or children. It can give you peace of mind when used in play areas or kennels. It features large heating elements to maximize the hydronic operation.

    #
Portable electric baseboard heaters can be an economical and convenient solution to your heating problems. However, most of the portable electric baseboard heaters must be used with caution around children and pets because of their location on the floor. Care should always be taken to be sure that they will not be touched because most of them are not cool to the touch and can cause severe burns.

    #
Other advantages to portable electric baseboard heaters are that they are small and have a very low profile. of usable space in the area you are heating. It is best to use a heater that is a little larger than what is necessary for your needs. This makes it possible to run it on the low setting and helps the surface stay cooler. Also, because it uses less power the cord is less likely to overheat.

    #

Hydronic electric baseboard heaters are also great choices.

    #
If you are in search of supplemental heating there are many different types that you might look at. You have to take into consideration the expense of installation and fire hazards than can be caused by an over-turned heater or an electric heater that is left too close to combustible materials. You will come across the hydronic baseboard heaters during your search. There are five reasons that you should choose this type of space heating.

    #
1. The hydronic baseboard heaters are safer than many other types of supplemental heat sources. These hydronic heaters have been in use since the 1940’s. The design is time tested by putting a heating element that is encased into a heat-transfer liquid that is harmless. A metal tube seals the liquid and releases heat into the surrounding area. This allows your space to heat very quickly so you can feel the benefits of your hydronic baseboard heater.

    #
2. These hydronic baseboard heaters can be used in areas that are hard to heat such as a bathroom or office that has been added onto the original building. Often people want to heat their garage so they can work in the winter but there are normally no heat ducts in the garage. These hydronic electric can heaters can be the solution to your problem. These heaters can be permanently installed behind doors, on walls, under desks or tables, behind doors, or just about any other out of the way space. They will quickly provide heat for these cold areas.

    #
3.
    #
4. It is possible to purchase portable hydronic baseboard heaters. They can be moved from one room to another because they are not hooked to any plumbing system. You can put it anywhere that you need heat. During the day you might need extra heat in your home office and at night in your bedroom. You can simply move the heater from the office to the bedroom. This feature would be especially beneficial to those people who find it unnecessary to heat their entire house.

    #
5. These hydronic baseboard heaters are very compact in size and can fit into practically any décor or design. They use normal household power so it is easy to control the temperature easily and quickly by using a thermostat that is installed right on the heating unit.

    #
Hydronic electric baseboard heaters may seem expensive at a glance, especially if they are compared to other choices of supplemental heating like portable electric or ceramic heaters. The increased fire prevention functions, their small size, and the heating capacity, but they are truly an economical choice.

    #

Electric baseboard heating systems are different from other heaters because they are safe, silent and inexpensive. They do not need a fan because they heat the room through convection so there is nothing about them to make noise.

    #
For small enclosed areas, an electric powered heater should always be used. There is nothing that is burned in this type of heating so there are no toxic fumes, sparks, or embers to worry about.

    #
These electronic baseboard heaters have a built in thermal control system that will cut off the heaters if they should overheat. When the heater has returned to normal operating temperature, the safety system will turn the heater back on. If you are purchasing an electrical baseboard, be sure to get one that has been thoroughly tested and listed by ETL or UL.
# Convection is used by electronic baseboard heating systems to heat the area.

    #
There is a heating element that heats the air which then circulates around the room because heat rises. As the warm air from the baseboard heating system rises, the cold air is forced to the bottom of the area. This process allows the baseboard heater to pull in the cold air that has been pushed to the floor by the rising warm air. This entire process wil repeat itself until the themostat that is set to control the heater reaches the temperature that has been set. These heaters are very cost efficient to use.

    #
Most baseboard heaters come in sizes from five hundred watts to fifteen hundred watts in power. This means that they can heat anywhere from fifty to one hundred fifty square feet. It is best to get a little more power than you estimate that you need. If other electronics will be run on the same circuit a larger heater might trip your breaker. It is very easy to maintain electric baseboard heating systems. The heating element on the inside of the heater has no moving parts so they need very little maintenance. The only upkeep that is required for the unit is minor cleaning to remove lint or dust from the heater’s grill and being sure that everything is kept away from the bottom intake on the heater.

    #
Most people choose electronic baseboard heating systems that do not require any installation of duct work. They are also great for room additions or any other place that would be difficult to route heat from the central heating system. Basements are typically a place where supplemental heating is needed and these electronic baseboard heating systems are a great way to get heat to the basement.

    #
Many times people have bedrooms or offices that are seldom used and it is not practical to heat these rooms all of the time. The electric baseboard heating systems are very easily installed. Some can even be installed without being mounted if you desire.

    #
If you are looking to replace your current electric baseboard heating systems or you are building a new house you might want to look into this cost efficient way of heating your home. For some people, it is much more practical than using a central heating system that continuously heats the entire house.

    #

Electric baseboard heaters are fantastic heating sources, the first thing you should do is to determine the amount of space you want to heat. Once you have done this, you will know what size heater you will need to install.

    #
Electric baseboard heaters are available in two styles, 120 volts or 240 volts. The 120-volt heater is a very popular choice because people think that it is less costly to use since it only uses a single circuit. However, the 240-volt heaters are actually the most efficient because they use both legs of the power source and sometimes this actually cuts the power demand in half.

    #
In order to function properly, electric baseboard heaters need to have a dedicated power circuit. Generally, baseboard heaters need a twenty amp circuit with twelve gage wire for either style of heater. Therefore it is not acceptable to just add it to an existing circuit that already has a circuit load. This can be a serious fire hazard.

    #
Many people choose to install a baseboard heater under the windows in their home. If you choose to do this you must be especially careful to keep window covers and curtains a safe distance from the heater.

    #
One advantage to placing the heaters under windows is that the cool air that comes in from the window will be warmed before it reaches the floor. Another good point is that there is usually no furniture under a window that will have to be moved. This provides an open area for the heaters, and that is great if you have installed a baseboard thermostat.

    #
It is acceptable to place baseboard thermostats on the baseboard or on a wall in the room that is being heated. Just remember to never put the thermostat directly over the heater because then it will not work correctly. The heater will come on and warm the thermostat almost immediately and as soon as the thermostat cools off , the same thing will happen over and over. The heater will never stay on long enough to heat the room. If you are using a wall thermostat, it is best to place it on an interior wall so that the heat can cover the area that you need heated before the thermostat kicks the heater off.

    #
It is not acceptable to place baseboard heaters directly below wall outlets. Cords that are plugged in can drape over the baseboard heater and cause an electrical fire. This situation is no different than running a cord across a hot stove, and you definitely would not want to do that. Before placing the heater think about the area of the room and how you use plug-in objects. This will help you to decide where to place the heater.

    #
A electric baseboard heater should always be placed on the wall and never have contact with the floor. The heater should have at least an inch between it and the floor. Using this precaution, will make sure the baseboard heater is far enough away from any flammable flooring or carpet that it does not start a fire.

    #
All flammable materials must be kept away from electric baseboard heaters. It is not safe to store such materials near baseboard heaters because pressurized cans and other things of that nature can ignite or explode from the heat. It is much better to be safe than sorry and store these items in a cool place well away from the heater.

GUID tags give that item a unique name for identifying it. It is optional. If set to true, the reader may assume that it is a permalink to the item (a url that points to the full item described by the
element). The default value is true. If set to false, the guid may not be assumed to be a url.

You dont need them in your feed and if your going to use them you need to create unique Strings for each one.
    instead of "
"
    try "
"
and supply a unique item number for each item.

    Or just omit them
