Grpg is not mccodes - however neither mccodes nor GRPG is the base for VileCity.net nor MafiaBattle.net. I know, I wrote much of the vilecity/piratequest/mafiabattle code for FinalMotive and invented most of the features done over the last year under the online names of "killer" and "Admin256". I bought a copy of GRPG to ensure it was in fact a complete rewrite; it is I can verify it. I should however warn you - GRPG is full of security holes, bugs and limited functionality. It is at best beta quality.
Honestly The Generic RPG script isn't all its cracked up to be. It is full of bugs and stuff, and it's really just a "baseline" script (one you have to add on to, without much functionality.) I had the script, but I deleted it almost as fast as I got it (from a friend, so it was free).
100% agree. and if anyone was to purchase the grpg script, do not expect any customer support. you get a buggy script, that will entitle you in many weeks of lost sleep fixing security issues.
