After steadily declining for some time now, I'm happy to report that according to yesterdays stats (and from what i can tell so far this morning) the amount being paid per click has nearly doubled what the rest of the month has averaged. Anyone else noticing this?
Why are people refering to it as YPC? Come on.. you all used AdSense before, call it what it is. What could R possibly stand for.. Return Per Click or something silly? God this term is annoying me and I've only seen it twice. Pete
RPC - Revenue Per Click - This term is actually used in YPN reports to show revenue per click publisher is getting.
RPC has been a term that has been in the idustry for a long time. Its basically an average of what your clicks are.
My RPC is smaller... I see that Apple is advertising for close to $5 a click, so maybe Ill get those on my site!
Pete, sorry didn't realize you lived under a rock buddy , because I've seen the term on a lot of different places ..
Well... the payouts are still up, but my CTR dropped by about 50% across all my sites yesterday... they're so damn inconsistant it's near impossible to do anything but sit around guessing what they'll do next .
