So, I sent a GPS back to the supplier in China because it was faulty. Sent the item on 29th October 07, and up to this date, it still hasn't arrived. Online it just says the item has been passed to the overseas delivery office. I sent it international signed for, insured it up to £250. I've filled in an international claim form, attached the postal receipt, and printed off all website/paypal details for purchase and payment. You think I will get my £250 back? I can just see Royal Mail coming up with some excuse as to why they cannot compensate me...
Really? Have you claimed in the past? It's my first time, and just because I have never had a good service from the RM, I have this feeling they will find a reason why they should not compensate me.
I used to work in a post office. They usually do pay out with things like this, just go in and speak to someone about it.
Nice one guys, that's given me some hope!! Am photocopying all receipets today, will take them in tomorrow.
Did you send air mail or surface mail as it can take upi to 12 weeks for surface and they wont do anything until that time is up mate.
Royal Mail? They are worse than any other postal service EVER! NO compensation will be given It;ll turn up mysteriously the minut you ask for compensation !
Had compo several times mate so disagree but do agree that they are almost the worse parcel force (farce) are by far the worse
Yes, I would like a sit down with the RM CEO and spit in his face. Then maybe drop a small nail bomb down his shirt, and blow torch his left eye. I've had so many problems with them, it's untrue. I'm just hoping I get this compensation. I'l give it in tomorrow, will keep you guys updated with what happens
