Hello everyone! I've been playing the game runescape for years now. It's a cool online multi player game where you can litterally live another life, apart from your own. If you like games and feel like escaping life for a little while, this is the game to play. This game has exchange feature that basically let's players buy and sell goods from each other at different prices, sort of like a flea market. I have become a millionaire in this game by utilizing the principles of arbitrage, but that's besides the point lol Today, I happened to stumble upon something very interesting in the Google Play store on my android phone. Some guy had an app developed that will let you know exact, real time runescape market exchange stats directly from the app! Intrigue hit me and I was thinking to myself "how is this possible?" Is this even legal? If i wanted to do the something similar, lets say, for a similar game for iphone or android game, but post real time game stats on a website, how would i be able to do it? If anybody would know, it would be you guys. Any information, such as where would be a good place to start going about this project, what skills would I need in order to do this whole project myself, what software would be useful to achieve this feat, or who I can hire to take care of this for me would be greatly apreciated!
