Rough Adsense earnings?

Hi all, I got a site running 5 years now and well listed in google for search terms for my field. It's www.bulkwhey.co.uk and on google's 1st page in search results for search terms such as "whey" (Only wiki is before me on google for "whey"!) "whey protein" "whey protein isolate" "whey protein in bulk" "milk protein isolate" etc

For those who don't know...whey is a protein powder made from milk and probably the most popular sports supplement in the fitness industry. It is a niche market but it's very competitive and ads via google are quite expensive I believe (don't do any myself).

Ok my question is if I got used my site right what kind of earnings could I expect roughly to make from adsense given it'd decent listing???

I might be using another of my sites to continue my business elsewhere so wouldn't mind changing www.bulkwhey.co.uk to suit adsense if the returns was right.

    Thanks,
    Barry

    It depends,

it Will vary according to the visitor type(Due to your content type) OR according to the incoming visitor rate, Bounce rate and much more. Trying keeping adsense for a Week, and then you will be able to take a decision. Easy :D

    Thanks.

Thanks extremephp! Nice username! Cos my site is php but my original one I did myself was html which I know. It's a joomla based site now but not sure where to place the adsense code as the admin panel is WYSIWYG. Any idea round this?? Will otherwise have to contact the designer!
    Cheers!

    Go ahead my friend
You just need to spend some time to try them out, add adsense ads on your site and monitor for a week and you will roughly know how much you will gain generally since your site is mature site. Of course, the earning can still be increased but need more work.

Hi Callmeminty, I am getting terrible adsense revenue of late. I am putting it down to the fact that tons of people are using the 'adblocker' extension which is available for firefox and, I believe IE. This means that they never even see my adsense so they never get to check them out.
