Rotating Outbound IPs on a Dedicated Server

I have a dedicated server with multiple dedicated IPs. My web host seems clueless on how to change it, or is just plainly trying to refuse to tell me it seems, though I can't figure why.

That said, I don't even need to rotate them, that's merely the ideal situation. If I can learn how to change the outbound IP to be different from the inbound IP that would be great.

Anyone have experience on the subject? I'd appreciate a walkthrough or at least a point in the right direction.

    Thank you for your time.

    What OS are you using?

You basically need to change the primary IP to METRIC 1 function. This is what you want to be the outbound IP address. On the second address, the METRIC should be higher 10 or 100. By doing this, your network card will default you to the METRIC 1 IP, but your inbound will continue to enter on whatever IP the DNS shows the website to be on.

This is not a guaranteed way of doing this. You would need to create some custom routes if you want to 100% guarantee outbound traffic to go out on a single IP.
