Root disappeared from google index

    Hi I have a web page the other day and from the root domain has disappeared from google,, but the new content and the rest of the pages are indexed well and do not seem to have lost positioning pansa What can be?

    That's pretty weird as I don't your homepage on site:command on Google but I don't think this a kind of penalty, all you can do is to get more backlinks focuing on your homepage..

    Maybe its the vbseo settings thats messing things up

    I've got the same thing happening with Norfolksteelbuildings dotnet hopefully it will be re-indexed again soon.

    Are you using plugins like keyword statistics on wordpress? The plugin adds noindex to the index page.... If you are using wordpress then just see your source code & find noindex in the html code... you should be able to see if some plugin is adding noindex to root

    yes i think it got de-indexed. i tried info:http://www.foroviajes.com/ and nothing turned up.. ie de-indexed.... Its bit strange ....

    re-indexing needs more proper seo.. you should try to submit that in variuos seo resources to get re-indexed ..

    Fix 301 redirection issue of your website. There is no permanent re-direction for your website. Website with out www. and with www may look same in our eyes but these are different urls. This is one of the prime cause of deinex of root domain. The details you'll find in Google webmaster guidelines. Fix 301 and it may take some time to get re-indexed.
