Yesterday was the Ron Paul Revolution March in DC. The MSM reported 500~800 people.

On site estimates put it at 8,000 ~ 10,000.

Not too many campaign generate this much excitement months after they are over. Of course, Ron Paul is not running a campaign based on gaining political power. He's running a campaign based on ideas.

    Some signs I like...

There were loads of speakers including CP Pres. Nominee, Chuck Baldwin, Thomas E. Woods, MO Rep Jim Guest, former CIA Bin Laden expert Michael Scheuer, Author Naomi Wolf and a lot more. I hope to have video this week.

Folks, the Campaign for Liberty needs a big boost in subscriptions. I'm working on some promotional ideas, however your help is needed and appreciated.

You can go here to get email and banner code.

Please tell everyone you know, please get them to sign up.

Ron Paul could never get elected. His ideas make too much sense.

There was a really good post I read at lobbyists.ruining.us about the sort of thing he talks about in regards to money in government.

Guys, feel free to keep this thread updated. It's someone else's turn to carry the torch.

This is a great speech from the Ron Paul March in DC. Dr. Thomas E. Woods is a Constitutional scholar, and a great author. This speech will fire anyone up.

Tom Woods at the Revolution March 7/12/08

Btw, Dr. Woods has two great videos on American History here
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BRhtmcxDSIs

    and here

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qt4Ohq0LKiI

Good stuff if you want to "do the knowledge".

This was Michael Scheuer's speech at the March,

'Have Nothing To Do With Conquest'

Great stuff from the world's preeminent Osama Bin Laden expert.

I have been on DP for a couple weeks but I have been concentrating on trying to make money online like everyone else here so I just not stumbled over to the politics forum.

that said, I am THRILLED to know that there are so many fellow Ron Paul supporters here at DP. It never ceases to amaze me the places you will find people who just support freedom and liberty.

fyi I am definitely down with the truth movement too. Alex Jones, Loose Change, etc etc. I run a full fledged blog on those kind of subjects but it is having some technical issues right now.

    Keep Fighting the Good Fight!

(and guerilla I am jealous you got to go to the March)

Get out while you still can and stick to concentrating on making money. DP P & R is an addicting waste of time. Trust me.

This is one thing that I know guerilla and I agree on. But if you decide to stick around, have fun!

I am sure you will find some people here who share your beliefs.

After scanning a few more of the threads in P&R I believe I am going to take your advice.

I could easily mutilate most of the arguments made by the threads in this forum, but what would be the point. Most people have brains that are completely closed off from reality and live in their little bubble that the mainstream media wants all us good Americans to live in.

I'll stick to arguing the finer points of the political arena in places where at least people have some basis of real knowledge.

    That wasn't me. I didn't say that.

It is very important that freedom-loving people come forward to defend Liberty.

    Who Owns America's Wealth?

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8VHNXTBwj80&feature=email

This video basically sums up the distribution of wealth throughout the US population. The distribution of wealth in other countries, like the UK, is very similar. These figures are more than a decade old. It's even more concentrated

like i said many many times before, it doesnt matter which 2 of these puppets get elected, the results will almost be the same, our economy getting worse and more war. After 4 years Ron Paul could be the only sane alternative even to the neocons after they run us into the ground.
The Ron Paul revolution is not going away.

I assume you give up your fights when facing adversity?

At least he is fighting on for what he believes. "Giving up" is weak and spineless.

adversity would be saying that he has some form of hope of getting elected... we all know that isn't true.

In this case, it isn't "weak" or "spineless" it would just be a smart business decision. Its like watching a guy bring a 2-inch pocket knife to a gun fight. Sometimes you just have to stop being stupid and face reality.
