Oh, don't be so grumpy, grim. I knew it was forthcoming a month ago. Not like it's a big "shocker" or anything.

Cheer up! You finally have something you can stand for! RP is the "popular" candidate here. It goes without saying ;)

With the writer's strikes, I don't know if arrangements have been finalized.

I saw it somewhere, but can't find it now. I'm sure it will be posted on the RPforums as soon as it is confirmed.

    EDIT: Here it is,

    http://www.paulunteer.com/?p=44

BTW, all RP supporters should subscribe for email updates at The Paulunteer. The guy running it is trying to provide a solid news service geared more towards activism and not just fans.

I don't see that many people as fired up about any of the other candidates as I see about Ron Paul, that should tell you all something is in the making. How many home made Hillary or Giuliani signs do you see out there? Ron Paul is the man of the people. Even on a smaller scale here in DP I see more members with RP signatures then anyone else.
    Ron Paul!

Love the new slogan: "I saved a bunch of money by switching to Ron Paul" this is going to win him the election. LOL

Speak for yourself pal, I can see Ron Paul getting in the White House. You'd better hope he gets in, he is the only shot we've got.

Why because "Americans" like you won't vote for him? Why, because he won't win? That makes no sense... you vote for a guy not because you think he will win but because you KNOW he is the best man or woman for the job.

If you believe in what Ron Paul believes you should vote whether you think he will get in or not... that goes for any candidate.

    ^^^ That's truth.

I recently received an email from a Romney Supporter I contacted. He told me that he respected Dr. Paul's positions, but he wasn't electable, and he was voting for Romney because he didn't want Hillary to become the President.

It's this kind of lesser of two evils thinking that guarantees that we always have corruption in government.

How does someone that claims to make 5 Million in one day only make 8 million overall? Something sounds a bit fishy here.. Sounds like that there fuzzy math to me.

$4.3 million in one day. It was a decentralized fund raising day. Between now and the end of Nov., the campaign may only bring in $1 million. But December 16th, I feel pretty safe to say that there will be another $4+ million dollar haul.

Mia he is right... they brought in 4 mil in one day... I saw it and as a marketer I know where most of it came from. Not fishy, and not too hard to figure out either:p

I also agree with guerilla, they'll bring in the money, they will get the 12 mil.

Well, I do follow the campaign very closely and participate in the grassroots.

No one could believe Paul was 5th in fundraising in Q3, or that he had more cash on hand than McCain, or that his campaign was more solvent than all but Thompson and Giuliani, but the FEC reports confirm it.

This is a legitimate movement. The GOP may not approve of it, but it is happening.

The Dec. 16th is going to bring in even more. I'm waiting for that date to make my contribution, and I know at least 3 more people that will do the same. So I think he will hit 12MIL if not more.

If a stand up guy like Nate says RP is o.k. then there must be something to it.

Mia where do you think that money came from then? It may very well have been those nearly 40,000 spammers that donated that day.

Yeah i'd be skeptical too if i heard a politician garnered that much support in a one day blast.. that's why Ron Paul stands out among the rest. We are organized and have boots on the ground unlike other candidates supporters. Don't believe me? go to meetup.com and find out for yourself.

ps. if you go to 'map' mode it might take awhile to load ;)

I don't really know much about RP but he has some good ideas on the gold standard and 2nd amendment rights. Hillary, Obama and Gulliani kind of scare me.

Seems RP is getting some $$$ from grass roots support.

Goto SeoMoz.org - Rand wrote a article on it, about his marketing strategy. it is quite interesting.

The money was honestly earned by supporters of the cause, many marketers are promoting him which helps as many of these guys have mailing lists of 1000s who make $10-100K/month. Not hard to see where the money came from ;)
