Dream on. :) The majority of Americans don´t even remember that freedom of speech, liberty and justice for all were accepted principals of the society many years ago.

I knew there was a reason California's unemployment number was a full 5% higher than the national average.

come on President gingrich???? LOL 2/3 of Florida GOP primary voters voted AGAINST Gingrich. If he can't attract died in the wool GOP voters...how is he going to attract independents// and non-meat eating angry White Republican males.

I also found it interesting that women voters gave low support to Gingrich...Not surprising huh???

/sigh. This is the problem with picking favorites. These things are always a crap shoot.

Gingrich's problems in Florida, and indeed in the primary as a whole, stem from too long of a career with too much of a history of political opportunism. His problem is he is a smart guy, certainly a lot smarter than the dolt sitting in the Oval office. After a decades long career working with idiots, I can imagine one gets used to saying whatever one wants and getting away with it. A master politician if you will. The problem is all those pesky recording devices allowing people to compile your greatest political hits and replay them at once. Before long at all, people start referring to you first as a flip flopper, then an opportunist, and then a meglomaniac.

You set all Gingrich's rhertoric aside, and you'll see a concensus building political moderate with big ideas. Unfortunately for Gingrich, nobody is going to set nearly four decades of rhetoric aside. Realistically, anyone with experience and/or political history will have that history used against them. Only a clueless a manchurian newb, like BoBo, with no political history(or experience), gets to skate into office without his history being weaponized, and just look how terrifc the inexperienced bufoon is doing.

Regarding support from women, we are obviously not France. Hell, we are not the Kenedy's or even the Clintons. Apparently disloyalty to your wife is only acceptable if you are a Democrat.

On the bright side, did you notice the overwhelming Latino support for Romney in Florida? I find myself wondering how the fact Romney's dad was born in Mexico will play out against offers from the Democrats to help flood the country with illegals and enslave them all to government handouts.

I hear Romney spent $10,000,000 more in attack ads for Floridians to ponder. I think it's weird how GOP's can go at each other, bringing up the worst of the worst they stood for and then expect people to still vote GOP at the election. With all the muck they raise Obama can just shut up and he'll romp home. Here one party would never slag its own party.
