You're right, I've had it easy Gtech, easy compared to people living in Uganda, Rwanda, Mexico, Paraguay, Laos, and Afghanistan. But can't you see that this country is declining, and if something isn't done, we will end up just like these countries? Do you realize that we can't even afford the war in Iraq, let alone Iran? This country is about to go bankrupt. If Bush attacks Iran, don't you realize the price of oil will shoot up to $200 per barrel, that food and energy will shoot through the roof? This will effect you and your family, as well as me. Do you really want this? Did you know Russia is becoming irritated with Bush's stance against Iran, and could back Iran if a war starts? There is a lot of stakes in this game Gtech, and you're choosing the wrong side. Hillary has already been chosen to become president, she attended Bilderberg last year, just like her husband did in the 90s, right before he became president. Many Americans are so sick of the Republican party, I know a woman who switched to Democrat because of Bush. Hillary will win with an avalanche if Giuliani or Romney goes against her with that "we need to stay the course" nonsense. Did you know Billionaire Rupert Murdoch backs Hillary?
Tesla, I understand what you are saying and I beleive that you believe there are things that need to change. Some of these we can both agree on. Our country is too great and too successful to be dismantled by any one person. Even RP...for as much as he wants to dismantle virtually everything, I also know he'd never be able to accomplish it. I also like some of his ideas. In fact, a great deal of them. In fact, if he were not quite so far out there on conspiracies, would stop blaming America for the world's problems and grow a set of kahones about protecting our country, I could see myself behind him. Even if RP were elected, I doubt very seriously he could do much damage to our country (from my perspective), though as POTUS, his first responsibility to our people and country is to ensure it's protection. I've yet to be convinced, in any manner what-so-ever, that he would do that. There is a difference between advocating war with Iran and being aware of their threats to our country and our allies. There is a difference in being aware of their intentions (nuclear weapons) and advocating immediate war. Bush has been very reserved here, as has Congress. These are *real* issues. They cannot be swept under the carpet and we cannot pretend if we ignore them, cover them up, diminish the threat...that it will just go away. Whether we deal with it today, or deal with it tomorrow, in one way or another, you can be assured that "we" will have to deal with it. I suspect Israel will deal with Iran long before we ever would. Iran has repeatedly threatened Israel in numerous ways. I don't know about you, but if I know someone and they threaten to kill my family and I repeatedly, I'm not going to wait until one of my family members is dead before I take action. I was not raised that way. I don't buy into the "conspiracy" that Hillary is already chosen. I know where that sort of "bunk" comes from. I simply do not accept all the hogwash behind the conspiracy stuff. Conspiracies are born out of a lack of knowledge. To fill that void, people make up for the void by creating assumptions. Just doesn't fly with me. Just today, on Drudge, new polls show Obama closing the gap in NH. Obama isn't out of the race. I like the guy, somewhat, but he's also done some things recently that have royally pissed me off. Doesn't matter, I'm not, nor will I ever, vote Democrat again, until they clean out the infestation of rats in that party and start taking national security seriously. Note that issue...national security. I've said it many times...that is my number one issue. Not because I'm concerned for my own personal safety...I'm blessed to live in a wonderful city that is conservative, has low crime rates and is probably far from any potential target. It's out of concern for my fellow Americans, not my own selfish worry. Many Americans are sick of the democrat party as well. We are sick of the infestation of communist liberals in the party that serve no other purpose than to tear our country down and sell it out. I'm one of those people. Every election is IMPORTANT. Every one. There is no difference in this election than years gone by. RP is not going to save America from something that doesn't need saving. If anything needs saving, Americans will do it, because we are a strong nation, a kind nation, a generous nation and we have endured the worst of the worst throughout our history. Yes, I'm not surprised Murdoch supports Hillary. I always find it ironic when the left attacks Fox News, yet Murdoch has supported Gore, Kerry and now Clinton. You have to appreciate the irony in that!
Back in the mid 1990's one of Murdochs huge "news" papers in the UK completely switched its allegience from Conservative to Labour because he knew that the Conservatives were doomed. He's a rotten Illuminati scumbag. And Hillary has been earmarked in as next President for a lot longer than you would think. It's not going to get any better any time soon.
there goes the "i" word again...wow, can you get some new material? You sound like a broken record. As far as shrillary, if she performs like she did in the last debate, she will not be coronated anytime soon...no matter how much she wants it. I also think Billy boy may be hurting her right now.
The threat to our National security is coming from within, but of course they are pulling a slight of hand on people like you and distract you with fake wars and fake threats while they are milking you dry.
@Josh, shouldn't you be moving some threads to Hot Topics? Nice to see you over here, but GTech is a veteran debater, so engaging him means we'll lose some of your valuable time on the RP forums. Don't worry, the DP Paulunteers keep him pretty engaged already! Of course, you're totally welcome to help out... @ GTech - If you don't believe Border Security is a national defense issue, then I suppose it stands to reason that Al Queda infiltrating America through open borders and false documentation isn't one of the first lines of defense.
