I didn't understand why Ron Paul got grouped with the truthers. They even seemed to "claim" him, even though what he said in the debate made it pretty clear that he did not believe the US attacked itself on 9/11. He basically said that 9/11 was blowback from American foreign policy, which is different from saying the 9/11 attacks were justified (just to make that clear). Rudy basically demanded he retract that statement, because Rudy wants everyone to believe that we were attacked because al Qaeda hates our freedom. In the battle of Ron vs. Rudy, I'd say Ron looked a lot more sane on that night.
The sad reality, is that Paul is backed up by the 9-11 commission report. Rudy hadn't even read it when they had the debate, which prompted this http://www.alertnet.org/thenews/newsdesk/N24342743.htm I'm sick of the rhetoric of Romney and Giuliani. They're both neo-cons and neither one is qualified (intellectually or morally) to be the President.
Is this a flip, or a flop? Actually, just went to watch the video. What he says is, he disagrees with a lot of people and that shouldn't preclude him from going on shows. I didn't hear him specifically say he didn't agree with them. He sure is pandering to them. Interesting, the OP a while back had some serious issues with RP. When I watch this clip, I see what I always see. Fair and balanced interview with plenty of opportunity to communicate his message. What more could a candidate ask for?
