Are we honestly back to the WMD debate I wish we could say we found the WMD's, finding a few shells with traces of banned items, finding items we KNEW about and were under seal, under inspection, finding dual use items, etc is hardly 'finding WMD's' or the stock piles we were told were there. Hell I THOUGHT we would find some. I hoped we'd find some for not only my own sanity as I thought we'd find some, but also for our nations cred in the world. Some people are simply incapable of understanding the difference from stockpiles of WMD's to a few accusations by no name sources claiming we found itsy bitsy little amounts, many times items we knew about and that Iraq was able to have. Where Bush 'lied' was how the intelligence was twisted, but no matter how much you get into that some will be blind on that subject as well.. Just remember Saddam was shipping in those unmanned arial vehicles in parts to put together in the states in order to gas us, that damn yellow cake and those aluminum tubes Now those items I never did buy as the experts told us they were bogus time and time again, 'but' the admin said otherwise and the US population ate it up like chocolate pudding.

I was curious about your personal take on them. TBH, I do like some of ron pauls stances on domestic issues, but his foreign policy is what turns me off about him. This is dishonest. No one has claimed all, or the ones "we" (I use that oh so loosely here) thought would be found. *some* were found. To suggest otherwise, or do like ferret did, is dishonest. And you were correct, *some* were found. I hope it's not a disappointment
Gtech a few tiny little items, a few items we knew about, a few items that we try to claim are something that they are not are FAR from the 'some' I am speaking of. When I say some, I figured we'd find a good supply of the chem and biological weapons we thought he had. I however doubted the nuclear, and other items.. Again no named sources, linking to tiny little 'finds' of items we knew about, were under seal, inspection, dual use, etc are far from finding WMD's --- Even looking at the list you point to, many of those items I know for a fact have been long debunked. Hardly WMD finds.. Wake me when they are found, I can finally get my wife off my back from being able to say she was right and I was wrong on the WMD issue...

I agree, and I have noticed this as well. We have no business in the UN. The United Nations is an entity that serves rogue nations best. You bring up an important point though, about "lack of depth." If it didn't include hate for America and most especially blame, it wouldn't be proper Ron Paul. This is a manifestation of virtually ever "radical" position he takes. For example, he wants to gut the government, eradicate the IRS (hey, who wouldn't?), etc., but he has no plans on how to accomplish this, or the consequences of doing such. Take the IRS. He simply wants to gut it with no solution, no forethought, no look at how it will impact America, how it will affect the economy, how it will affect anything. This is typical of ron paul's solutions to everything. No point in fixing anything, just gut it. Don't like something? Just gut it. No worries, it will all work out. I'm simply left mystified how people could blindly support this. Ron Paul has no leadership experience, no meaningful legislation, doesn't work well with others (democrats or republicans - it's his way, or the highway), and believes the solution to everything is to simply gut it, with no thought behind the consequences of his extremist ideas would do to America. Or, perhaps he has given thought to his extremist ideas, and believes America has been naughty and deserves to knocked down a few centuries.
Most if not all have been debunked, because if the president himself said no wmd's were found then none were found. Gtech many of the items in your link were debunked, other items were known about and under seal, that does not make them banned WMD. Finding a shell, 'even if they did which many of those items were known about by the UN and under seal you do realise do you not?' does not make us finding banned WMD. That link is nothing more than a last chance to try to find banned WMD's, items that would show Saddam breaking terms, giving us a reason, only problem is most if not all of them are false, known about, allowed to have, etc. This does not equal the case you are trying to make. We have had this discussion over and over and I know you'll take any accusation, no matter how little of proof, no matter if the item was allowed to be there as a 'oh wow they were found'. Hell I want some found as well, actual banned WMD, something more than the crap posted in that link, I could prove my own wife wrong then and finally hear the end of it. The link documents, over the years, a plethora of WMD, WMD components, LOOTED WMD and WMD that were found in Iraq. Now, this is surely disappointing to some here, who are not interested in facts, but you are a better man than that. You recognize that *some* were found, which is the only argument I've ever made. Yes, in the past, you have denied any wmd were there, despite the evidence that clearly shows they were. Bush said the wmd they were looking for, were not found. Bush is correct. They also chose not to make a big deal out of those that were found. I'm thrilled that suddenly those that tear America down and praise terrorist states believes what Bush says now. What a remarkable turn around!
