    Dr. Paul is stumping in Nevada today and tomorrow. There was a rally today, and if you've been following the campaign for awhile, you know that 300+ is pretty good. At USC there was 1200, Tennessee was around 1500, University of Michigan was almost 2,000 and the recent Philly Rally was estimated at 5,000.

    Well this was a short notice rally in a relatively small hall, and one of the participants who photo'd it estimated 1200~1500 people.

    OH MY LORD. Big News. The defections have started.

    Welcome aboard Marc. You're arriving right on time.

    Less than $20,000 to go to break $9 million this quarter. We've got a real chance to be the money leader for Q4 with moneybombs coming up on 11/30 and 12/16.

    He'll probably come to Cali in Jan. From now until then, it's all about the early primary states. IIRC, California votes on Super Tuesday, Feb 9th or so.

    It's his biggest donor state, and one of his biggest and established support grounds. I'm quite sure he will be there again.

    Man, that is great news about the fleeing Obama heads. He is the Dean of this election: lots of talk and apparently lots of support, but I just don't see it amounting to anything at the polls. I think we can convert a lot of Obama heads when they see his "change America for the better" message in Ron Paul, and in a plan that doesn't start with increasing taxes to make it happen.

    The problem is, a lot of people have been brainwashed to believe that the government must provide socialism. Managed economy, managed equality, subsidization of the lower class, and progressive, productivity retarding taxes on the working class.

    People are pigs and the government owns the trough. That's why everyone is lining up for "free" healthcare. How can the government offer anything for free? It has to tax or borrow from someone to do it.

    And the redistribution of wealth and resources from the working class is the foundation stone of socialism. It's anti-capitalism.

    If anything, the greatest help to Ron's message is that we've progressed more and more towards socialism as time goes on, and paid more and more into our government via taxes, but things haven't really improved. It's wonderful that we need only ask people "does government solve problems and do it efficiently?" The resounding no from most rational people alone proves that we need to change the way we approach fixing social ills in our society; money and laws can only go so far.

    Ron Paul on Bloomberg - Turning heads again with expected $12+ million earnings in Q4.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rUO9r36bVsQ

    Time Magazine online weighs in,

    Ron Paul Says He Will Raise More Than $12 Million in the Fourth Quarter

    ///////////////////////

    New interim Money Bomb planned for November 30.

    Ron Paul’s supporters use Rudy’s foreign policy views as a fund raising event

    Rudy's Reading List

    There was a lot of controversy about this one, still raging in forums, because the campaign doesn't want fund raising to dry up for the $10 million dollar Dec. 16th (Boston Tea Party) Money bomb. Some folks think 11/30 takes away from 12/16, but really, the campaign is spending so much money right now in at least 6 states, it can't afford to let up with primaries in Iowa (Jan 3) and New Hampshire (Jan 8).

    Suggestions are to split donations on both days, or commit to one or the other.

    //////////////////////////////

    Article about Dr. Paul by his hometown paper, the Brazoria County (Texas) Facts.

    http://thefacts.com/story.lasso?ewcd=c163c53c74a9cd81
    Congressman Ron Paul not only has emerged from darkhorse status to player in the race for the 2008 Republican presidential nomination, he is doing it with a campaign method that is out of the dark ages.

    He’s saying what he truly believes. Off the cuff. Straight off the top of his head.

    How unusual is that in today’s age of scripted sound bytes? In modern politics, candidates are trained to repeat phrases as though they are voicing a See-N-Say. Point the arrow to the picture of an illegal immigrant, pull the handle and hear, “We must protect our borders.”

    That’s not the case with Paul, the Lake Jackson Republican who two decades ago ran at the top of the Libertarian Party ticket. Say what you will about his politics that veer from the safety of conventional thought or lack of signature legislation he has sponsored being passed during his time in Congress, there is no nuance or hedging in his stances.

    His true beliefs are turning thousands of Americans into true believers in his brand of politics, if not his ideology.

    If only we could trust all presidential candidates to be as unscripted and genuine.

    Ron Paul has Belgian appeal (actually, he's one of the most popular candidates internationally). And he's inspiring young Europeans to question the size and pervasiveness of their governments as well.

    Look up the main blog at the end of the video for more details.

    Ron Paul is exciting a lot of people about politics. A lot of people who never voted, a lot of people sick of the panderers in the Democrat and Republican parties. And a lot of classic small government anti-war conservatives that had disappeared when Reagan left office.

    Make sure you read up on the ronpaul2008.com site under Issues. I'm sure something there will inspire you. Also check Google News for articles, and www.lewrockwell.com/blog as well. LRC Blog posts Ron Paul updates all day long.

    Ron Paul up to 8% in South Carolina
    Not sure if I posted this before

    http://rasmussenreports.com/public_...ection_2008_south_carolina_republican_primary

    /////////////////////

    Reason Magazine writes,

    Ron Paul rising. Earlier this week Mike Huckabee told reporters he was the only presidential candidate who's seen a steady surge of support. Not true: Ron Paul has decisively broken from the 1 percent/margin of error ghetto into, at the very least, spoiler status. RealClearPolitics still doesn't include Paul in all of the averages, but 4.5 percent in Iowa, 6.8 percent in New Hampshire, and 7.3 percent in Nevada. The latest South Carolina poll puts Paul at 8 percent. David Bergland, the (disastrous) 1984 Libertarian Party candidate for president, is overjoyed.

    There is no one, true path to liberty. The Ron Paul campaign, the internet, and the millions of people involved in both prove it every day. The old, political establishment is under siege. The power-mad goons are surrounded by heroic lovers of freedom whose numbers will continue to increase exponentially. I’m glad I have lived long enough to see it.
    It's a little surprising, how little sting the "nazi" and "9/11 truther" attacks are hurting Paul. Maybe they're an internet phenomenon with no purchase in the real world. You know, like the Paul campaign used to be.

    ////////////////////////////////////////

    Ron Paul, in his own words, from the Conservative Voice,

    The non-liberals who admit to the failure of their brand of interventionism now plot schemes for “reindustrialization”—a euphemism for fascism (government “partnership” with business). Banking Regulation Number One and the Defense Production Act, already on the books, allow under emergency conditions for an economic despot to take charge almost immediately. In a panic, it will not take much to topple us over. Since Americans dislike outright government ownership we will have the deception of private ownership in combination with government’s authoritarian control over the economy. And some businessmen, under this system, will always hope to secure greater profits at the expense of innocent (and unknown) victims.

    ///////////////////////////////////////

    New Hampshire Asks is a group that poses questions to all candidates by running those questions in Newspapers, and then when the Candidates have replied, running poll results based on the answers.

    So far, Ron Paul is the only candidate to reply.

    Not too crazy about the blimp idea, but I will do an update on it. I think it is almost 30% pledged towards.

    Don't forget Rudy's Reading List! Money Bomb this Friday. The goal is to break $12 million for this quarter by Monday Dec 2. It's very short notice, and very optimistic, but please remember Friday, Rudy's Reading List.
