You don't know how true that is. Soon I'm going to have to start raising prices on my imported products as the dollar continues to go down, my cost goes up. Those in the US are not going to like it. Merchants have held out as long as they can, prices are going up and they will continue to do so, sooner rather than later and in some cases much more steaply than you'd of imagined.

That is the cost of having a weak dollar. People keep talking about our exports going up, but we're a 70% service economy now, heavily funded by foreign debt.

This is a huge consumer economy, and as the dollar weakens internationally and against commodities, confidence will continue to fall and the dollar will continue to buy less in real terms. And we'll pay for it every time we buy something.

And that's not even taking into account the inflation of the money supply. In the last month, the Euro, Oil and Gold have collectively hit all time highs against the dollar. And yet the government says that inflation is 8/10ths of a percent when they adjust GDP for inflation. I think we all know everything has gone up in the last year by more than a fraction of a point.

A country with our trade imbalance can't afford to have a weak dollar. It kills our manufacturing base, and prices out the service workers, unless they use debt to purchase things. Debt != ownership

I have been curious to when that will happen, I have also been reading more and more people are defaulting on their credit cards, which is kind of funny to me because I sort of hate credit card companies, but it means more people will have to buy with cash

Don't raise prices just yet please, so we can use more money to support Paul and THEN the dollar's value will be restored, possibly along with our reputation? :) A republican cleaning up the republican mess. I like it. I don't have much money to give him, but if I did, i'd trust him with it. We can all give him free advertising too, and that sounds like the most valuable thing that came out of the the 5th.

BTW, WOW, someone here made that site, huh? Whoever it was... you're my role model. Right on.

Thanks a million for the campaign updates too. I've been too busy to keep up with the news, but this is the most important thing to happen in our century (people waking up), imho. It's night of the living dead.

The CNN YouTube Debate is allowing the candidates to present their own 30 second ad. In the spirit of "for the people" decentralization, the Ron Paul campaign is letting supporters enter their own videos to be used as the advertisement.

Like most Ron Paul supporters, I donate my free time to networking with other supporters, and promoting the campaign. And so, I am paid nothing.

Any Ron Paul supporters who are handy with Drupal, please drop me a line. A friend is setting up a great new social website, based around Republican party regstrations, and he is using Drupal for his front end, and needs a hand getting it set up.

    PM please.

The plan for victory in the Republican primaries is to get Democrats to register as Republicans?

You are aware that most of the straw polls held by local GOP parties were intended primarily to encourage Republican Party registrations, right? That's half the purpose of primaries, is to encourage party registration. Why would you imply it's a bad thing?

No. We're working on a press release for the site. It's much more sophisticated and layered than that.

Yes, one of the goals is to promote GOP registration, but also to network people already in the GOP.

And there are more than just the Democrats out there. There are Republicans who have dropped out (the base is at an all time low, several states can't even find enough members to complete delegate slates). Constitution, Reform and Libertarian Party members. As well as independents.
