That number is not entirely accurate. Paul was not present for several votes.

What does he need to do to win? How can he beat McCain with the delegate spread? If there is anyway of beating him, is he doing a good job?

It seems every day that goes by, they (media) talk about McCain and Obama more... RP seems like more and more of no-chance/don't-throw-your-vote-away candidate...

Ha that's hilarious. He couldn't even read all the way through his own article to find where it says Paul is the best spender. I doubt Will.Spencer will be back anytime soon.

I wonder if they showed ron paul as much as hilary or obama on tv, maybe ron would win more votes and maybe even become president.

Is it me or are hilary&obama [h&o] getting waaaay more exposure, publicity and media coverage ?

The media in the USA is very liberally biased and has been. This isn't new. It is a type of control they like to have over the cattle, err I mean people.

If a republican discovered the cure for AIDS and a liberal democrat picked his nose, the media would be focusing on the gem that the liberal had pulled out and how paris hilton did something stupid again.

This is why they attack foxnews with a passion, it is the only news show that is just on the right of center. Could you image what would happen if there was a station that was as right leaning as the NY Times is left leaning? They would be trying to make laws against it. Oh wait, that is kind of what is happening with talk radio now!

What I have learned from this forum and the Ron Paul forum is the liberal whiners who complain about dat der fauxnews are the people who watch dat der fauxnews. That is like AGS who whines about the one guy who has the radio spot too - hannity - he watches that probably more than any "neocon" or "joo" does.... Makes me wonder who actually listens to Rush Limbaugh - probably the liberals too.

There is nothing conservative (ie. the opposite of liberal) when it comes to today's Republican establishment.

The GOP has sex scandals like the democrats, spends like the democrats, cranks out entitlements like the Democrats, and nation builds like the Democrats.

Any so-called Republican who whines about liberal bias, is in fact, a total hypocrite.

The media holds too much power and sway over the average person's mind.

And the media take the opportunity to feed crap [read britney and paris hilton stories] into their brains.

I addressed some of this in my latest blogging of doom and I proposed a small idea in it at the end... but I want to see what you think here.

After the election is said and done - would it be a bad thing for the Goldwater and Paul republicans to split from the neocons? I mean, call the party the Super Grand Old Party (SGOP) and the party name could also be RR (No, not Ronald Reagan... Real Republicans). Since the values would be in support of the Goldwater standard, it would only be obvious that this "split" would carry the heart and soul of the real republicans left. If it turns out to be quite a few, a lot of power and sway could be held over the other faction of the Republicans. Seeing how none of them could be elected if... 1/3 or even 1/4 of what used to be party members were now no longer under the bought-and-sold thumb of the McCaininites or the ultra religious social tinkering groups.

That could hold an enormous amount of sway in presidential elections - because without that little bit of support... nominees would lose. And I dare anyone to say it is Un-American. It is more American than being a slave to a two party system without any real discourse and it forces issues to be heard.

Something similar is already being worked on. The difference is, this block draws more than Republicans, so the stakes are high for the GOP, but the Democrats as well.

Until the Texas Primary is over, things are going to move very slowly. I just hope Dr. Paul keeps his seat. His challenger is a total idiot.

Slightly off topic but how to you see Hillary doing in TX and Ohio mate?

I'm asking you because you more than anyone else here in P&R has a firm feel for what's going on on the ground.

I'm totally engrossed with the Fascist party elections, haven't been following the Socialists.

I'd say if Clinton loses Ohio, she's done. Not sure that Obama can win Texas. It's a pretty Red State, and Hillary is the most Fascist of the Socialists.
