here is a small list http://stirileprotv.ro/show-buzz/en...ngleza-neversober-vezi-aici-alte-exemple.html i really find it funny
I`m from Romania. I don`t find this very funny. I think if you search other countries for similar names translated into English we`ll find the same thing. So I don`t find this very funny.
It's quite idiotic that Romania has to change city names to english, but some villages have some pretty funny names, not just those listed in the link above. Hard reality is that "Neversober" applies to 90% of the population who is not employed despite the national anthem that keeps telling the Romanian to "wake up from the sleep of death"... after 19 years, he still didn't..
Lol How cool would it be to say you are from a town called really fat lip? lol or even The Rather Roomy Rural Community hehe
The only thing I am asking myself is how many millions EURO our government spent for this translation ...
^Hey, it is not a joke ? I think it's for fun, but if it's the officially translation...I have no words...that's crazy !!
nice plug to the site you could simply copy it instead of linking us and yeah, i'm not Romanian, but i beleive it's just a joke!

Transliteration, more often than not, creates odd, senseless terms. And I don't see the point why Romanian cities should be translated to English.
I never been in Roman so I'm not familiar with the places that has been mentioned.. but the slatina thing caught my attention.. it happens that my first name is Tina
