I tried making one in photoshop/imageviewer (I know it's dated, but it seemed simpler). It worked perfectly, but it doesn't load when I put it in the already existing page (specifically, the left navigation)... If you can help me see what's wrong with that, the code is here - http://pastebin.com/uTNB7V1A (both the HTML and CSS). Anyway, can anyone guide me to any sort of tool that would help? I'm looking to create a map with just two initial buttons showing - to organize my assignments by either type - or chapter - with the lists/links to each hidden until the respective one is clicked. Is there any simple way to do this? I'd also be okay with just making it purely text links showing up as a menu upon clicking.
There are many apps that are free for this out on the web and they will create the code for you. I've been programming for 13+ years, and I've always used that. Coffeecup has a good one I believe, but you can find a free web based one without having to install as well if you do a good google search for it.
which one? The HTML Editor? I installed the trial but I have no idea where to start. I really just want to do this one thing (the image map to click to trigger a list of links)
