With all of the hand-wringing and complaining over "Smart Pricing" and everything else that evolved in 2006...is this year shaping up to be better or worse for you than last year?

    Total income?
    CTR?
    CPC?

I don't think people will be willing to reveal their ctr as it is against adsense TOS

I didn't ask for specifics. I'm well aware of the TOS.
Just wondering how other folks are getting by compared to last year.

I'm faring about 5-6 times better this year than last. Average has gone up from $4-5/day to almost $27 per day.

This year was much better than last. But then I only started optimizing this year and started with adsense last year.

You got to remember that many people will have increasing traffic because their site or sites are a year older.

Google has made it tougher with separate pricing for Search and Content and Smart Pricing so I've had to work harder to maintain but long term it should be better as I've improved content, added blogs, improved meta code, built up back links, etc. After seeing a number of people that had their Adsense revenue "killed" by the changes, I feel good that I have maintained from a year ago.

I'm a firm believer that one can earn more as time goes by and the hard work begins to pay off.
Been studying SEO quite a bit lately, and the engines are finding the content more every day. = )
