This is not a statement on your thread. But, I had a very bad experience with Rolex lawyers regarding some watches we listed on eBay awhile back. Rolex is vicious on defending brand rights. It cost us $300 to call them off and I am still not convinced that we were guilty or did anything wrong!! Basically, the lawyers are letting the victims pay the fees for their client, making it kind of a new age vigilante situation.

After a little research, it was revealed that Rolex has a reputation with those in the watch industry such as those that repair them. Nasty, real nasty!

All I am saying is be sensitive in what and how you are dealing.

Again, it probably has nothing to do with what you are offering. But, might if your Buyer has some ideas for marketing that displease Rolex.

But really do not understand why rolex contacted you and for what?

All this site doing is - Pulling the latest listings from Ebay and categorized in a nicer easier way for the user to find what they are looking for. In fact, in someway this does marketing for Rolex.

No direct listing posted on this site, user will be taken directly to ebay listing once the user click on a listing on this site.

Right now it is marketed using Adwords. Site will be sold as is. The new buyer will be responsible for marketing in a proper way.
