    Marketing is always about spreading information about your website. Therefore, social networking like facebook allowsy ou to connect with others in your niche, perhaps even find others who are curious about what you are selling. Generally, I find it to be a good platform to go out and do some leg work and interact with potential customers more closely, hopefully building trust which will create a return customer and website visitor.
