Role of hosting server in ranking and website speed

    Hello Everyone

    I am little confused about the role of hosting server in website speed and Ranking over Google. I know that a UK based domain can attain you high ranking in google.co.uk in less time as compared to .com domain. Is this hold true for hosting server? And especially tell me if hosting server can effect the sped of your website?

    if you have your site on a server which crashes all the time or takes minutes or hours to load your pages, then definitively yes it will affect your rankings;)

    it's related with loadind speed and your site ip. i think these are very important on seo
