    Im about to run a niche directory and I want your opinion.

    What do you think it will make more profit..
    A rock directory or a music directory ?

    The more niche you make it the less amount of submissions you'll recieve. You don't wanna go soo niche that you're not open to a descent sized audiance.

    It really all depends on how much unique material you have and how much knowledge in the genre you can share. if you are an expert in one category such as Rock, I would say specialize in that, but still build around it as time goes by (add categories for others music styles, but brand yourself for what you specialize in).

    i would go with a music directory, but maybe try to add unique features to separate your directory from all the rest.

    I agree with mike. If you have more knowledge on a specific genre than go for that genre like rock. You can still add more genre as time goes by and if you started with rock at least you have specific or unique characteristic for your directory. Good luck....

    Is that dvduvall's script? Looks good :) I like the low price submission fees as well. it's something but not too much. Will keep a lot of spam sites from being submitted.
