The problem you are encountering is the ageing delay. Google webmaster uses the Robots exclusion protocol to restrict all new blogs. If you look in the webmaster tools, you will see something of the nature...user-agent, disallow/search with your sitemap url. You can't change the robots.txt file because it is located at the root level of the directory found on the web server...Google webmaster controls that. However, you can use a Robots Meta Tag such as <meta content='ALL' name='ROBOTS'/> strategically located above your <title> tag in the <head> section of your template. The word 'ALL' instructs the searchbots (all of them) to follow and index your site irregardless of the server-side instructions. It's the nature of the bot to do that...and when it gets conflicting messages (it will revert back to its true nature - follow and index everything). Do not allow some Google trolls to discourage you from using this tag. It works because I've used it myself with excellent results. You may find that Google webmaster will try other under-handed ways to suppress your site again...but continue to develop good content, obtaining backlinks, promoting your site, etc...and keep that tag in there. You will see results quickly.:)
