    A page of mine got indexed that I did not want to be, so I just added it to my robots.txt

    Does anyone know how long it will take before it is removed from google, or will it stay and just not be re-indexed?

    robots.txt asks the robots not to visit the page. It would be better that access to the page is permitted to robots and that the page HEAD section includes:
    <META NAME="ROBOTS" CONTENT="NOINDEX, NOFOLLOW">
    Code (markup):
    The time before the page is out of the index is hard to predict. I had to wait more than a month when I made a test in November of last year.

    If it is important that the page is rapidly removed from Google index, use the Google automatic removal system. Be very careful with this dangerous tool. Do not use it if it is not an urgent matter (some people complain that Google removed more pages than what they wanted).
